Our comprehensive range of services includes general excavations of varying depths and sizes for building foundations, underground facilities, sewers, drainage systems, and the installation of underground pipes. Additionally, we excel in surface leveling and construction projects for both buildings and roads. To cater to specialized needs, we offer excavations in confined spaces, leveraging our collection of specialized small machines.

We possess a wide array of hydraulic hammers, ranging from 1000kg to 5000kg, enabling us to perform precise deburring operations with utmost efficiency. Our proficiency extends to various demolition tasks, employing compressors, hydraulic hammers, and hydraulic shears of varying tonnages. Furthermore, we are skilled in creating embankments using materials from excavations as well as inert quarry materials.

Established in 1976, Michalakis N.E.G. began its journey with the acquisition of the first wheeled hoe by our founder, Michalakis. Over the past 25 years, we have earned a stellar reputation by safely and expertly executing countless projects across Greece. In 1998, the company embraced a new chapter under the leadership of Francis Michalakis, infusing fresh perspectives and cutting-edge knowledge to propel the company forward.

Over the years, we have successfully completed numerous noteworthy projects, both within and beyond Crete. Some of our exceptional undertakings include the infrastructure development for the Agia Pelagia interchange, the earthworks for the prestigious Daios Cove and Seaside Resort hotels, and the construction of essential taxiways, ground vehicle parking spaces, and airplane parking runways at Nikos Kazantzakis Airport. We have also contributed to the construction of dams for the Panormos reservoir, as well as the Aposelemi and Skopelos dams.

Additionally, we take pride in our involvement in large-scale photovoltaic parks and the development of extensive hydraulic installations throughout the island.
